Giving Tuesday

Now that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are over, today is Giving Tuesday. After the long holiday weekend of shopping and deals, Giving Tuesday is a day Americans are urged to volunteer or make donations to local, national and international charities. The one-day charitable giving promotion launched in 2012. Since most charities generate a vast majority of their contributions at the end of the year, Giving Tuesday has opened the door to a more organized effort on a specific day.
