4th Annual Chili Cook Off Planned at Pascagoula Senior Center
Doors open and entertainment, door prize drawings and chili tasting begin at 10 a.m. Sample chili and cast votes until 1 p.m. and enjoy more entertainment and door prizes until 2 p.m. when the winner(s) will be announced. Also available will be a variety of lunch items from Ms. Bea’s Kitchen that will include soups, salads, sandwiches, and desserts for $1 each. All proceeds from this event will benefit the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life.
With the American Cancer Society, this event is presented by Camellia Home Health and Hospice, Singing River Health and Rehabilitation and the City of Pascagoula. Tables are available to any business or group who would like to enter the Chili Cook-Off, or have an exhibit, for $100 per table. Any group is welcome to enter your recipe in the hopes of winning the title of “Best Chili in Jackson County”. This is a wonderful social and business opportunity for senior adults and organizations servicing this demographic.
