MSDH reports 1,520 COVID-19 cases and 58 deaths statewide

Today, MSDH is reporting an additional 1,520 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 58 deaths.

Nineteen deaths occurred between September 1^st and September 26^th and 39 deaths occurred between August 21^st and September 22^nd, identified from death certificate reports.

Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases is now 486,195 with 9,538 deaths.
