One man dead after shooting in Moss Point

The Moss Point Police Department have identified the victim in a fatal shooting that occurred this morning.
Just after 12:30 a.m., officers responded to the 4000 block of Gautier Street where they found 43-year-old Ronald Broadnax Jr. of Moss Point, MS suffering from a gunshot wound.
Broadnax has been transported to the State Medical Examiner Department for an autopsy.
The individual that was taken into custody has not been charged for this crime. However, he is currently being held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center on unrelated charges.
