Shop to Shine: dressing special needs guests for prom night

Tonight, Bridal and Formal Boutique hosted their first annual Shop to Shine. At the event, special needs guests planning to attend Night to Shine were able to find their perfect outfits for the special night.
Seeing all your friends at an event means you need to look your ultimate best and that’s exactly what the staff at Bridal and Formal Boutique and House of Tux made sure of tonight. Rebecca Henry found her perfect dress for the event. She said, “They have earrings, necklaces, anything you want to have, they will have it.”
The special needs community was invited to the boutique to get their glam on. They were able to rent out a gown or tux for just $25 for their upcoming prom night sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. James Smith is the father of a child attending Night to Shine. He said, “I just really want to thank God for people like Tim Tebow and his foundation for doing this for kids that might not get the opportunity that other children get, that way they don’t feel left out or discluded from others.”
The mirrors saw many looks at tonight’s event and played a big role for some people in choosing the perfect dress for the Night to Shine event. Nina Watson is the mother of a child attending the Night to Shine event. She said, “I’m thrilled. She is so excited because this is her first opportunity to do this so she’s, as you can tell, excited, saying yes to the dress.”
Now that everyone has scored their perfect outfit for the big night, the only thing left to do is wait for February 9th, the day where over 350 churches worldwide will put on the Night to Shine event, centered on celebrating God’s love for people with special needs. “I just want to have fun, hangout, let loose, talk, be with someone I care about.”
