Southern Miss wide receiver declaring for NFL draft

Southern Miss wide receiver Korey Robertson has played his final game for the Golden Eagles and will declare for the 2018 NFL draft as first reported by Jason Munz of the Hattiesburg American.
Having already signed with STL Sports, Robertson will forego his final year of eligibility, leaving a glaring hole for USM on the outside. Robertson was practically unstoppable during his junior campaign, catching 76 passes for north of 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns, landing him First Team All-Conference USA honors in 2017.
Projected as a second or third round selection, Robertson will be the first USM underclassman to declare for the draft since Rakeem Nunez-Roches did so in 2014 when he got taken in the sixth round by the Kansas City Chiefs.
