Last weekend to view Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival

This coming Sunday will be the last day to experience the magic of the Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival.
Jones Park transformed during the month of December into a 40 acre winter wonderland with over a million lights and 140 light displays. At the winter festival, you can find something for everyone in the family with fun ranging from a Santa village to a ferris wheel.
News 25 spoke to Jase Payne, the City of Gulfport marketing manager, who summed up the festival’s success this year. “This year’s turnout has been great. We’ve had another successful year here at Harbor Lights. It’s the third annual year. We’ve had a lot of great publicity from ‘Christmas in Mississippi,’ a lot of regional visitors from Texas and Louisiana and Alabama and Georgia. It’s just been a great year so far.”
Harbor Lights was recognized by onlyinyourstate.com as the best holiday light show in Mississippi. The winter festival will have its closing night on New Year’s Eve and will be open from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m.
