Local Movie, Happy Log, Completed; Screening in D’Iberville

The film Happy Log, shot mostly on the Gulf Coast, is finally complete. Many local residents were involved in the film and are looking forward to seeing it on the silver screen. Monday night, the movie’s director held a private screening for the cast and crew at the Grand Theater in D’Iberville.

The film features many locals both on and off screen and is a coming of age story about two altar boys. The two boys want to prove their manhood by going on an overnight fishing trip on the Wolf River, but their trip soon takes another direction.
