Southern Strike Providing Meals
Military service members need fuel to train and fight. They need nutritional meals to continue the fight where ever they are. For them to eat well, food service specialists prepare four nutritional meals at the Combat Readiness Training Center during Southern Strike.
The long training hours require the dining facility to have meals available to replenish the members with hot food and beverages. Carry out meals are available for pick up to those who are training offsite and cannot get to the dining facility.
Airman 1st Class Lemichael Dotson said, “Our roast meals give everyone healthy, nutritional meals. The military has its guidelines of what each meal should have and it’s supposed to be a well-balanced meal for everyone to enjoy.”
Twenty-two hundred U.S. and international service members are participating in Southern Strike.
