Officer Involved shooting

One person is in the hospital after an overnight officer involved shooting. Details are limited at the moment but here’s what we do know. Sometime after midnight, officers were called to a scene off of Sugar Gate Road in Vancleave. We don’t know why deputies were initially called to the scene. Jackson county deputies shot on man and he was transferred to an Ocean Springs Hospital. No officers were injured. We will bring you updates as this story develops.
