Hancock County Accident Victim Identified

The woman struck by a vehicle and killed after a holiday event at Hancock Elementary School last night, has been identified. Hancock County Coroner Jim Faulk identified the victim as 47-year-old Laurie Jones of Diamondhead. Jones was attempting to cross the road with her two children to get back to their vehicle after the event let out. She was pronounced dead on the scene. Her children are still receiving medical care.
