Two Coast residents dead and one injured in Texas
Two Coast residents are dead and a Long Beach woman is in critical condition after a Monday morning crash in Texas.
Twenty-six year-old Andrew Derosia of Gulfport was driving a Ford Explorer on Interstate 40 at about 8 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle. Derosia and 29-year-old Jeremy Lassere of D’Iberville died at the scene. Twenty-one year-old Paxton Key of Long Beach was also in the SUV and is currently hospitalized.
Today, News 25 stopped by Harbor View Café in Long Beach where Key works. We spoke to Key’s coworkers who told us her family says she is currently in stable condition.
News 25 also got a chance to speak to Lassere’s sister, Lynn Moore, who shares with us a little about her brother.
Moore has set up a GoFundMe page to help cover funeral costs for her brother. There is also a GoFundMe for Derosia’s funeral costs and Key’s medical expenses.
