Battle on Buffett Beach

Racers and obstacle course lovers, listen up. The City of Pascagoula is hosting a Battle on Buffett Beach this December. It’s a challenge course with 12 obstacles over a span of two and a half miles. Some include vertical walls, tire runs, rope climbs and crawling under nets.
Participants 14 years and older are welcome, but if you are between eight and 13 there will be a separate kids obstacles course at Beach Park.
With all of the improvements happening along the Pascagoula Beach, city officials believe this is an opportunity to show off. Parks and Recreation Director Darcie Crew said, “Pascagoula is just a beautiful place. You drive down Pascagoula Street and come to the end and the water and the amenities that are going in are just really great added benefits to living in Pascagoula. We want people to come to Pascagoula to enjoy that as well and see what we get to enjoy every day.”
December 3rd may seem far away, but registration opens September 1st and the fees increase as the day gets closer. You can visit cityofpascagoula.com for more information.
