Fear Fete 2016 Wraps Up

It may have been creepier inside the Coast Coliseum as Fear Fete 2016 wrapped up. Vendors, selling all kinds of ghoulish goodies from artwork to costumes, were packing up today. The Fear Fete Horror Convention hosted the coast’s very first video game con, drawing in gamers and horror fanatics from all over to Biloxi. The event also drew in celebrities and cosplayers dressed up like sci-fi movie stars.
News 25 caught up with some Ghost Busters from New Orleans who say they were on ghoul patrol all weekend. Clay Jorns with Ecto Nola tells News 25, “It’s a horror theme event, so you got things like “Christine”, you’ve got all these horror things going on. What better place for the Ghostbusters to be right? That’s why we’re here to make sure that things don’t get a little rowdy, because if it does we’re going to step in line and take things down a notch.”
It may be a wrap for the Fear Fete convention and Horror Film Festival but they will both return to haunt the Coast next year.
