Baseball Playoffs

October is good for quite a few things: Halloween, scary movies, pumpkin patches and playoff baseball.
The divisional round is really starting to heat up with Chicago fans singing “Go Cubs” after last night’s four run ninth inning rally to advance to the NLCS for the second straight year.
Biloxi native and former New York Mets catcher Barry Lyons was in house today to talk about his favorite time of the year. “Well playoffs are a very special time of the year for Major League Baseball and its fans. As a former player, it’s exciting to watch baseball this time of year and to have every game, every pitch mean so much. A real baseball fan has to love this time of the year. And I’m a real baseball fan,” said Lyons.
The only first round series going on is the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Washington Nationals. The latter being the host team in tomorrow’s winner take all game five.
