Ms Power Crews Help Out In Georgia
Mississippi Power crews continue to help restore power to thousands in Georgia in the wake of Hurricane Matthew.
Mississippi Power’s south crew spent most of Sunday afternoon repairing a broken pole on a key feeder line that is preventing evacuees from returning to the Georgetown area of Savannah, Georgia.
The feeder line has about 48-hundred customers on it, but also powers a major wastewater treatment facility.
The company’s storm team of about 102 members worked well into the night and continues their efforts today to restore power to all residents and businesses in the area.
