Mississippi Sending Help East

With the Carolinas bracing for hurricane Matthew, MEMA is sending two staff members to North Carolina.
Those two Mississippi emergency management agency staff members are MEMA’s office of preparedness director “Susan Perkins” and the operations officer “Tina Reed”.
Both women are a part of the e-mac “A-Team”.
Their job will be to help coordinate response and recovery resources into the state of North Carolina from other states.
Mississippi power will be sending crews to help out as well.
Their 90 member crew will head east to help assist with hurricane Matthew restoration after the storm hits.
