New Goodwill Outlet Store in Gulfport
The ribbon was cut for a new Goodwill on the Gulf Coast.
The new Goodwill Outlet Store is located at 3018 25th Avenue in Gulfport.
Goodwill aims to provide a new shopping experience for customers. Customers will be able to purchase items by the pound. Their rate is $1.50 per pound for everything up to 25 pounds and $0.75 for everything over 25 pounds.
This model also serves a dual purpose of helping reduce environmental waste. Goodwill of South Mississippi President and CEO Trip Harrison said, “You can get some amazing stuff. I mean, really, really cool finds here. At the end of the day, it’s going to help our mission which is to put people to work, give them job skills training through the revenue we generate through this outlet as well as our other stores that helps people get out of poverty and change their lives.”
The store’s hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
