Gulf Coast C.V.B. Offers Sugar Bowl Packages for January

The Gulf Coast is known for its many attractions, but sometimes, a nearby event comes along that’s just too sweet to pass up, Sugar Bowl sweet.

The Gulf Coast Regional Convention and Visitors Bureau, along with the Mississippi Hotel and Lodging Association, have partnered together with local hotels and casinos to make it easier to get to the Sugar Bowl.

The highly anticipated matchup on January 1st between Alabama and Ohio State is part of the new college football playoff system and will be bringing thousands to the Gulf Coast region. These packages, which start as low as $238, get visitors a one or two night stay on the Coast and two seats on a bus to New Orleans on game day.

Renee Areng, Executive Director of the Gulf Coast Regional Convention and Visitors Bureau, says, "It’s all about the experience, so if you can combine multiple experiences in one trip, the traveler is even happier."
