Gulfport produces two division I signees

Gulfport High School had a pair of division I signees this morning starting with soccer star Alexis Arnoult. She’ll be heading off to Louisiana-Lafayette as a top five goal scorer on the Gulf Coast last year and baseball standout Blake Johnson is going the same direction.
He signed his letter of intent with Tulane University after committing to the Green Wave in July. He played all over the diamond as a junior, but really thrived behind the plate and on the mound. He hit six home runs on a .351 batting average and had 111 strikeouts to go along with a 1.28 ERA.
His running mate, Gabe Lacy, will be heading up to Jones County Junior College while another soccer darling, Leanna Pittman, is gonna be running the pitch at PRCC.
