Planned Parenthood Seeking Appeal

Planned Parenthood is hoping the overturning of a law in Louisiana will help overturn a similar ruling in Mississippi.
The women’s health group is asking a federal judge to overturn a Mississippi law that bans Medicaid from spending with a health provider that provides abortions. They argue a judge should make a summary judgment backing its challenge of the Mississippi law.
The U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals recently upheld an injunction against a similar law in Louisiana.
