Bomb Threats Investigated at Camp Shelby
Camp Shelby in Hattiesburg received two bomb threats today via phone call.
The first call came at 8:30 a.m. and the second followed shortly after at 10 a.m. The soldiers who received the calls reported the incidents through their chain of command and alerted local authorities.
As a precautionary measure the Mississippi Highway Patrol’s bomb squad completed a sweep of the area and no bombs were found.
An investigation is still underway.
