Police Chief To Address Aldermen Tonight

Moss Point chief art McClung is set to break his silence tonight. Chief McClung is scheduled to meet with the city’s board of aldermen about his July 29th traffic story in Pascagoula. When an office clocked McClung going over 100 miles per hour, McClung admitted that he had been drinking. He was initially placed in the back of a police car, but after a call made by Pascagoula’s Police Chief, one of Pascagoula’s officers drove the Moss Point chief home. After last week’s story was released to the public, The Board of Aldermen called an emergency meeting and voted to indefinitely suspend McClung without pay pending an internal investigation. News 25 will be at tonight’s meeting and will bring you the latest in this developing story.
