ACT Scores Falling In Mississippi

Bad news when it comes to Mississippi ACT testing scores. Mississippi act scores fell drastically in the first year all public school seniors took the test. 2016 high school graduates in Mississippi made an average composite score of 18 point 4, dipping below the 19 students scored in 2014 and 2015. Now this dip didn’t exactly come as a surprise. These scores also include results from 2015 which was the first time Mississippi paid for all high school juniors to take the test when the testing pool expands, results tend to drop. That pool expanded from six thousand taking the college entrance exam to 36-thousand.
