Climb CDC Open House Tomorrow

Tomorrow Climb CDC is inviting everyone to come and check out their programs and facilities.
The workforce training institute will host an open house from 9 until 3 at their main location on 30th Avenue.
Climb CDC offers numerous programs for students 16 to 24 looking to continue their education. You can earn your GED or high school diploma, learn trades like culinary arts or enter programs like their customer service excellence training program.
The institute’s main goal is to graduate their students and place them directly into a job. Marquez Singleton with Climb CDC said, “What we want to do is show parents and students what we have to offer here at Climb CDC. The best way to do that is to open our house and let them see the environment that we’re in and let them be comfortable with what we have.”
Tammy McKnight with Climb CDC said, “They come in already not feeling worthy of themselves and we walk them through that slowly. When they’re able to achieve a skill and their education such as their GED or high school diploma, it opens so many doors for them.”
If you happen to miss tomorrow’s open house, you can always apply in person at Climb CDC’s main office in downtown Gulfport.
