I-110 Closing Tonight

Making the early morning drive on I-110 can expect delays. For the next two weeks, starting at 8pm until 5am, traffic will be down to one lane in both north and south directions. This is so M-DOT crews can properly inspect the draw bridge to ensure it is operating without malfunctions. Biloxi city officials tell News 25, the construction will only be through the night and week days, so rush hour and weekend traffic will not be affected. When they’re doing the work Monday through Thursday there will be at least one lane of traffic open so we do ask motorists to be cautious in the area because there will be workers in the area and we also ask to just be patient because there will be at least one lane will be open so traffic may back up. Boaters should also be aware, M-DOT will have a boat under neat the draw bridge surveying as well.
