Jackson County Man Charged with Murder

One Jackson County man is in custody charged with murder after authorities say he shot his own cousin.
Jackson County Sheriff investigators say 57-year-old Mose Ben Wells shot his cousin, 41-year-old Eric Hampton, on McGregor Road in Vancleave.
The victim was taken to Ocean Springs Hospital by Acadian Ambulance Service, but died of his injuries in the hospital a short time later.
Wells was taken to the Jackson County Adult Detention Center.
