Woman Struck by Car Identified

Officials are now identifying the pedestrian killed after a car hit her this morning.
Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove tells News 25 that 18-year-old Davitra Kelly of Gulfport died at 6:36 this morning in the Garden Park emergency room due to blunt force trauma.
Hargrove says the driver who hit her remained on the scene as authorities investigated and her death is now ruled an accident.
The Gulfport Police Department says the car was going northbound on Three Rivers Road near Windsong Drive when it struck Kelly, who was walking on the edge of the roadway.
