Conspiring To Provide Material Support

A Mississippi woman was sentenced yesterday on conspiracy charges for attempting to join ISIS. Vicksburg native Jaelyn Young pleaded guilty in March to one count of conspiring to provide material support to a terrorist organization. Thursday she appeared in federal court. Prosecutors say young and her boyfriend had plans to fly to Turkey, cross into Syria and join the terror group. She was sentenced to twelve years.
