Wanted In Moss Point Shooting

Moss Point Police are looking for a person of interest in connection with a July 26 attempted murder. 35 year old Charles Ray Lofton is wanted for a shooting that happened near Elder Street and Lily Circle. Lofton is on parole from the Mississippi department of corrections for being convicted of two counts of receiving a stolen vehicle and two counts of absconding supervision. He was wearing an ankle monitor that he removed shortly after the July 26 shooting. Lofton is about 6 feet tall, 160 pounds with multiple tattoos and is considered armed and dangerous.
