Salvation Army to Open Cold Weather Shelters Thurs. & Fri.

The Salvation Army Cold Weather Shelters in Gulfport and Pascagoula will be open due to predicted cold temperatures on Thursday, November 13th and Friday, November 14th, 2014. The weather forecast will continue to be monitored if additional days are required.

Gulfport:
Location: 2019 22nd Street, Gulfport, MS
The shelter will be open from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. each night.
Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. for shelter residents only.
Residents will be taken to Feed My Sheep in the mornings for breakfast.

Pascagoula:
Location: 3217 Nathan Hale Ave., Pascagoula, MS
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. for Cold Weather residents.
Dinner and breakfast are served.

The Salvation Army is currently registering volunteers to help with the Cold Weather Shelter in Gulfport. Those interested in volunteering may visit http://bit.ly/coldwxvolunteer to register. The shelter in Pascagoula is a full-time shelter and is staffed accordingly for Cold Weather days.
