Humane Society of South Mississippi Teams Up with Feed My Sheep

The Humane Society of South Mississippi (H.S.S.M.) is teaming up with local nonprofit Feed My Sheep through its fourth annual food and adoption drive entitled “Helping Homeless People. Helping Homeless Pets.” H.S.S.M. will be hosting a food drive for Feed My Sheep at the animal shelter’s Gulfport location. Anyone who brings in an item from the list to help feed the needy at Feed My Sheep from now until November 26 will then be eligible for a half-off the adoption fee* for an animal in the shelter.

“Part of the Humane Society of South Mississippi’s mission is making South Mississippi a better place, not just for pets, but for people too,” said H.S.S.M. Marketing Specialist, Krystyna Schmitt, “And this food and adoption drive has been successful in doing that for the past few years. We look forward each year to bringing in food donations for the needy people in our area, while at the same time finding homes for the needy pets here as well.”

“Helping Homeless People. Helping Homeless Pets” will kick off at H.S.S.M. today and run through November 26th.
