Former President Bill Clinton campaigning for Colom in Tupelo

TUPELO, Miss. (WXXV)- A former president will be heading to the Magnolia State to campaign for Democratic Senate candidate Scott Colom.

President Bill Clinton will be heading to Tupelo Friday, joining other Democrats at a Mississippi Forward event.

Additional speakers include James Carville and the honorable Mitch Landrieu.

Other big-name Democrats coming to campaign for Colom include former Vice President Kamala Harris and former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
