Scott Colom holds press conference in Gulfport Tuesday

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Before his rally with Pete Buttigieg Tuesday, Scott Colom stopped in Gulfport to hold a press conference.

Colom criticized Senator Cindy Hyde Smith’s vote against the bipartisan infrastructure law.

Noting the measure has brought billions of dollars to Mississippi for roads and highways, along with funding for broadband expansion and water system improvements.

Colom argued those investments are helping communities across Mississippi and said voters should consider Hyde-Smith’s vote as they head to the polls next week.
