The fall-like feel continues for South Mississippi

Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at the week ahead

It’s already feeling a little cool tonight, and even more so by morning as temperatures fall back to the upper 40s and low 50s.

Expect plenty of sunshine over the next several days, with afternoon highs mostly in the upper 70s to around 80.

Nights will stay dry and comfortable, with temperatures dipping into the lower to middle 50s.

Saturday and Sunday brings slightly cooler afternoons, with highs in the upper 70s and a northeast breeze picking up around 10-15 mph.

Looking ahead to early next week, more sunshine is expected Monday through Wednesday, with highs in the middle to upper 70s. If you’ve been waiting for a stretch of quiet weather, this is a great one to enjoy!
