National Drug Take Back Day happening October 24

Singing River Health System is taking part in National Drug Take Back Day this weekend.

Anyone with unused or expired prescription medications at home can bring them to the Ocean Springs Hospital to safely dispose of them.

All you need to do is drive up to the front entrance and drop off the medication, no questions asked.

The hours for the event are from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

This day is meant to help prevent prescription drug misuse and keep the community safe.
