Spirit Halloween prepares for local events

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Spirit Halloween in Gulfport is helping families get ready for the season with costumes, decorations, and a program that gives back to children in need.

From costumes for all ages to trick-or-treat bags, home décor and more, Spirit Halloween has a variety of items to help families prepare for the holiday.

The store also supports the Spirit of Children program, which helps make hospital stays less scary for children and their families.

One hundred percent of donations collected through the program goes to the Child Life Department at Manning Family Children’s Hospital in New Orleans.

With local pumpkin patches, fall festivals, and the Jackson County Blue Ribbon Fair in Pascagoula families across South Mississippi have plenty of ways to enjoy the season.
