Clear nights and sunny skies on tap for south Mississippi

Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at the week ahead

We are in for a beautiful stretch of fall weather this week, with plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures expected through early next week.

Tuesday through Friday will bring sunny skies and highs near 80 degrees. Overnight lows will dip into the mid 50s, making for cool, comfortable evenings and mornings.

Temperatures will ease back slightly this weekend, with highs in the upper 70s and a bit of a breeze developing Saturday and Sunday. Sunshine continues Monday, with a high near 78 degrees.

No rain is expected through the next week!
