Our Lady Academy eyeing fifth straight Volleyball State Championship

The Our Lady Academy Lady Crescents are preparing to defend their Class 3A state championship as they return to the biggest stage in Mississippi high school volleyball.

OLA punched its ticket to the state championship Monday with a dominant three-set sweep of the Presbyterian Christian School Bobcats in the South State showdown.

The Lady Crescents are no strangers to championship success, having captured the gold ball in each of the last four years. Now, they have their sights set on extending that impressive run with another state title.

With six seniors leading the way, OLA brings experience and confidence into the championship matchup. The team knows what it takes to win at the highest level, but the players haven’t lost sight of the hard work, dedication and teamwork that helped them reach this point.

Our Lady Academy will play for the 2026 Class 3A State Championship on Friday, October 16th at 10am against Kossuth. Best of luck to the Lady Crescents!
