Cruisin’ the Coast makes major donation to Make-A-Wish

Thanks to the generosity of Cruisers and those who love a good cause, Cruisin’ the Coast was able to give Make-A-Wish a major donation!

Not only were they able to give them a check for $40,000, but also a bonus check of $5,000 from the raffle ticket proceeds of ‘Goldie,’ the 1967 Pontiac GTO that was given away during Sunday’s Cruisin’ the Coast closing ceremonies.

In addition, Make-A-Wish Mississippi also granted five-year-old Everett Newman’s wish of a new Golden Retriever puppy during the closing ceremonies.

The young Mississippi boy was diagnosed with leukemia in September 2024 and is expected to have his final treatment in November.
