Guilty Plea

Margaret Sanchez has been sentenced to 40 years in prison in the stabbing death of a Bourbon Street dancer and mother whose dismembered body washed up along the Mississippi Gulf Coast back in 2012. Margaret Sanchez, of Metairie, Louisiana pleaded guilty to manslaughter, obstruction of justice and conspiracy to obstruct justice in the murder of 22 year old Jaren Lockhart of Louisiana. Sanchez’s plea bargain comes on year and one day after her ex- boyfriend, 43 year old Terry Speaks, was convicted in connection with the same crime. the two lured Lockhart away from temptations gentlemen’s club in New Orleans on June 6th of 2012 Lockhart’s torso floated ashore one day later in Bay St. Louis. Other parts of her body drifted onto beaches over the next few days.
