Lynn Meadows Discovery Center Youth Council installs two free libraries

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Lynn Meadows Discovery Center is sharing that their free libraries are making their way to the community.

Two libraries were installed on Friday by the center’s youth council as part of their community service project.

One is located in front of Central Fire Station in Gulfport while the other is at Sugar and Spice Children’s Apparel in Downtown Ocean Springs.

The council members helped build and decorate the libraries themselves, encouraging all children to read, share, and discover.

The Discovery Center says they will continue to stock the libraries with books to create a resource for children and parents.
