Cruisers roll through Long Beach for Show and Shine Car Show
LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- Classic cars took over downtown Long Beach for day two of Cruisin’ the Coast, bringing car lovers, live music, and local food vendors to Jeff Davis Avenue.
Day two of Cruisin’ the Coast kept the fun rolling in Downtown Long Beach, where every ride has a personality that demands your attention.
Thousands of classic rides with unique designs filled Harper McCaughan Town Green, giving owners a chance to show off their cars and compete for prizes at the Show and Shine Car Show. Cruiser Todd Donaldson said, “We love the Cadillacs and all the classic cars that come down here, but the people make the experience enjoyable and bring us back every year.”
To keep everyone fueled up, Sweet Sips, Flipping Hibachi, Salt and Sand BBQ, and Pure Acai Bowls served up local favorites throughout the event. Pure Acai Bowl Owner Sara Pasqualone said, “Cruisin’ the Coast is a great event! It’s fun to meet new people from all different places and it helps our business because it brings more recognition to us. We get to meet people, it spreads the word, and it helps a lot of the cruisers keep things local.”
The celebration continued with live music from as the parade rolled down Jeff Davis Avenue, giving cruisers another chance to enjoy the festivities.
