Long Beach Police Department introduces new motor unit
LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- The Long Beach Police Department is adding two additions to their fleet.
Two motorcycles have been added to the fleet. They are also launching the brand-new motor unit.
Starting out, the unit consists of Captain Craig and Officer Craft. Both officers successfully completed the 80-hour motor school and earned their motor wings.
The police department says these bikes are another way for officers to serve and connect with the community while enhancing the presence on the road.
