Lane closure scheduled for parts of Robinson Road in Gulfport

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Gulfport is alerting drivers to a lane closure happening on Tuesday, October 6.

A section of Robinson Road between Kencrest Drive and Old Highway 49 will see a section of the eastbound lane closed.

This is so crews can perform ditch maintenance.

Work is expected to finish up next Wednesday. That work happens from 8 a.m. each morning until 2:30 p.m.

The westbound lane of Robinson Road will remain open to accommodate east and westbound traffic and help minimize disruptions.

Drivers are asked to use caution in the area and to pay attention to all traffic markers and worker instructions.
