Coast AI leader to serve on national advisory board

A South Mississippi AI leader has been selected to serve on a national artificial intelligence advisory board.

Dr. Kollin Napier, chief AI officer of the Mississippi Artificial Intelligence Network, will serve on the National Association of Higher Education Systems AI Advisory Board.

Napier will also chair a work group focused on using AI to improve operations and workforce productivity.

The board is developing national resources to help public higher education systems prepare for and responsibly use AI.
