Compensation available for some generic drugs as part of multi-state settlement
Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch is asking Mississippians who bought certain generic drugs to check whether they qualify for compensation from a multi-million-dollar settlement.
The settlements total about $96.5 million and involve several generic drug manufacturers accused of conspiring to artificially raise prices.
People who purchased certain generic drugs between May 2009 and December 2019 may be eligible to file a claim.
Fitch says the money is intended to compensate consumers who may have paid inflated prices.
