Two injured in early morning home robbery in George County

GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The George County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery and aggravated assault that left two people injured.

Deputies say it happened around 2 Monday morning at a home in the 100 block of Lucy’s Drive.

Details are still limited, but we do know that two people at the home were taken to the hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The investigation is ongoing and there’s no word yet on any suspects.
