Pelican rehabilitated in Pass Christian released into wild

PASS CHRISTIAN, Miss. (WXXV)- The Pass Christian Fire Department is sharing details on a pelican crews helped rescue last month.

After being picked up at Pass Christian Academy Daycare, Ember the Pelican was transported to Woodside Wildlife Rescue.

There, Ember was given care and has recently been given a clean bill of health.

Ember was released back into the wild recently. The department gives a big thanks to Woodside Wildlife for the work they do caring for local wildlife and helping Ember get back on her wings.
