Harrison County Community Emergency Response offering CERT Basic Class

When disaster strikes, every second counts and having trained community members ready to help can make all the difference.

The Harrison County community emergency response team is offering a CERT basic class, giving people the practical skills they need to respond safely and effectively during an emergency.

Here to tell us how you can get involved and make a difference in your community is Harrison County EMA Director Matt Stratton.

The five-night class begins September 28 and runs through October 2. Each session takes place from 5:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. You’ll get the address for your session upon registration.
